Kanye West debuted his new song "Black Skinhead" on "Saturday Night Live" last night and now the rapper/producer is sharing the lyrics to the controversial track. 'Ye took to Twitter and posted two screenshots of the song's lyrics.

"Pardon, I'm getting my scream on," starts one line, signifying the tone of the song. The racially-charged number touches on themes like interracial relationships, religious fervor and 'Ye's reputation in society. "Baby, we living in the moment/ I been a menace for the longest," he raps along with lyrics like: "Middle America packed in/ Came to see me in my black skin."

Kanye performed "Black Skinhead" for the first time on 'SNL' on Saturday night. Wearing black leather and appearing against huge screens with black and white imagery, the superstar was somber as he spit his lyrics. For his second song during his 'SNL' appearance Kanye kept the mood equally serious with "New Slaves." The track debuted earlier on Friday with a series of projections appearing at 66 specific touch points around the world.

Shortly before the performance, Kanye's lady Kim Kardashian took to Instagram and posted a photo that seemed to confirm Kanye’s album name (Yeezus) as well as release date. "#Yeezus #RedYeezy's #SNL #Tonight #NewSlaves #YeezySeason #Donda #June18," Kim shared, captioning a photo of the new red Air Yeezy IIs and the Yeezus album packaging.

GULF SHORES, Alabama — Kendrick Lamar's journey has, literally, taken him from the bottom to the top.

? Saturday night headlining set at the Hangout Festival.

"That's my first time out here, so to get that type of love on my first trip is [an] amazing feeling." Of course, it's not Lamar's first festival show, but there was something about watching the massive crowd singing along to nearly every line to every song from his catalog that really made an impact on the Compton, California, MC.

"Let it all hang out onstage, man," Lamar said about what he learned from the festivals he played last year. "At the show they want to see a great performance. Festivals they want to see a great performance and party at the same time." That's why he made sure to play three or four songs back-to-back and spray the over-heated throng with water at Hangout to keep their energy up.

When MTV News' Sway Calloway asked what it was like to see nearly everyone in the audience shouting along to most of the songs, Lamar said the feeling was indescribable. "You know what I trip off on Sway?" he said. "Knowing where I wrote the lyrics at. When I wrote them it was this small little kitchen in Compton and to come all the way across the world, the country and these people singing it like they wrote it with me? That's the best feeling."

Well, thanks to the Compton, California, MC

Webb got his wish. While Lamar was jetting to the site on a private plane, MTV News' Sway Calloway kept the audience entertained by asking if there were any real MC's in the crowd.

At first, just about everyone in the packed Boom Boom Tent raised their hands, and after a few false starts, Calloway found a potential rhyme slayer in Webb, a Pensacola State College physical therapy assistant student who said his spotlight was the first time he's taken the stage in front of such a big audience.

"That was a good surprise," said a still buzzing Webb after leaving the stage following some props from Sway. "Before I came here I talked about wanting to get on the stage and then it happened!" Webb, who runs with the Purple Heart Gang (check out their Just Dreamin' mixtape) and goes by the stage name Tempoh, wasn't shy about taking the stage and spitting.

"You know I got ballistic/being me is impossible/like Tom Cruise on a mission," he rhymed. "Do you get it/are you with it?/Haters livid cuz I live it/Very vivid on my image … but who am I kidding cuz I do this for myself/For my team, for my fam, I do this just to help/I do it for the fanbase and I do it to death/And, man, I'm a do this till there is nothing left/I'm gone."

By Maurice Bobb

“You stay classy, Toronto.” That has a nice ring to it, but there’s no way Drake, who was spotted on the set of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” on Saturday (May 18) afternoon in New York by the NY Daily News, will be allowed to steal the film’s star Will Ferrell’s signature line for the highly-anticipated sequel.

Dressed in a leather “Members Only” jacket, vintage t-shirt and jeans and topped with a huge afro bookended by '70's era sideburns, Drizzy was movie-shoot fresh on the streets of Manhattan, dusting off the acting chops he perfected as a castmember of “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

The Take Care MC joins fellow rap superstar Kanye West, who was seen on set last week on the movie’s Atlanta set, in the cameo-heavy follow-up to 2004’s surprise hit, “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.”

This is the second time this week that Drake has hopped into the hip-hop hot tub time machine. The "Started From the Bottom" rapper wore a vintage Dada outfit on the set of the “No New Friends” video shoot, a move that quickly became a trending topic on Twitter after the behind-the-scenes photograph was released on Instagram.

No word on what Drake's role in the film will be, but from the looks of the new trailer, this second act looks like it just might live up to the greatness of the first one.

By Rob Markman

"Saturday Night Live" usually reserves their weekly musical guest spot for the biggest and brightest pop stars and last night was no different as Kanye West took the televised stage. The performance was definitely big, but there was nothing bright about Yeezy’s dark and loud performance.

Instead of the super catchy "Gold Digger" or cheery "Good Life," ’Ye looks to be headed in a deeper direction with the music that will be included on his upcoming album Yeezus.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday morning (May 19) West took the stage in a black leather motorcycle jacket to debut "Black Skinhead," a punk rock-soaked thump seemingly drawn from Marilyn Manson’s 1996 hit "The Beautiful People." "SNL" usually isn’t the stage where artists unravel deep messages of racism, but then again West is far from usual.

"What do you say to a masked man? This inglorious bastard that’s rappin?/ We might have to just burn his ish down/ Like the theatre that Hilter was slept in," Yeezy rapped in time with the constant pound of the drum.

For his second selection the G.O.O.D. Music head rocked "New Slaves," the racially charged single that he debuted just days earlier on Friday by projecting the song’s video on 66 different locations around the world.

Shortly before "SNL" aired Yeezy’s love Kim Kardashian took to Instagram and posted a photo that appeared to confirm Kanye’s album name, release date and CD packaging. "#Yeezus #RedYeezy's #SNL #Tonight #NewSlaves #YeezySeason #Donda #June18," she wrote, captioning a flick of the new red Air Yeezy IIs and the Yeezus album's packaging.

"This will be the livest motherf--king show," Kendrick Lamar said at one point during his set at the Hangout Music Festival today.

The Compton native began his show with the fitting shout out to his coast, "Westside, Right On Time." "Y'all motherf--kers ready to party tonight?" K. Dot asked the bikini-clad crowd. Wearing a polo shirt peppered with birds and camouflage pants, the rapper then went into his bouncy jazz track "Hol' Up." The reigning Hottest MC in the Game did well to balance new tracks from his critically -acclaimed LP good kid, m.A.A.d city and his pre-Dr. Dre underground cuts like 2009's "P&P."

"Anybody been listening to me since day one?" he asked the crowd, who responded with great enthusiasm.

Kendrick kicked things up several notches with his guest verse from A$AP Rocky's "F--kin' Problems," which the audience helped him perform, and kept things turned up with his bars from Young Jeezy's "R.I.P." remix. Kendrick got contemplative for a moment with "A.D.H.D." and stressed the importance of his 2011 independent album Section 80, which he says helped get him where he is today.

At the end of the show Kendrick came full circle with music from his latest album by delivering the crowd the pounding "Backseat Freestyle" and his multisyllabic lyric-fest "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe."

The Hangout Music Festival, taking place in Gulf Shores, Alabama, features acts from a variety of genres. Public Enemy rocked the stage today as did The Roots. Yesterday, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis brought Seattle flavor to the beachfront concert. Tomorrow, acts like Imagine Dragons and singer Ellie Goulding are expected to hit the stage. Fans have been especially excited for Kendrick's set. "To everyone at The Hangout seeing Kendrick Lamar perform today: soak it up because your life only goes downhill from here," tweeted one concert-goer as another added: "Kendrick Lamar is killing it."

MTV, VH1 and CMT are live from Hangout 2013, bringing you all the latest news, interviews, performances and more from the Shores. If you're not able to be there, be sure to check in and watch live streaming performances all weekend.

The Roots kept the hip-hop vibes going on the second day of the Hangout Music Festival. Black Thought, QuestLove and The Legendary Crew's band took over Gulf Shores, Alabama with their trademark hip-hop soul. Accompanied by keys, bass and even a tuba, the Philly-bred collective kicked crowd favorites like "You Got Me" and the sultry "Break You Off" as well as cuts like "Get Busy."

The Roots even remixed Damien Marley's "Welcome to Jamrock" with "Welcome to Hangout." “Thank you Hangout Festival for showing us a tremendous amount of love. Yours truly, the legendary, hardworking," said Black Thought, fittingly outfitted in three quarter pants. The Roots frontman then shouted out host Sway, who was enjoying the set. "Whattup Sway?"

Hip-hop has had a major presence at the festival. Earlier today, legendary group Public Enemy performed songs like "911 is a Joke" and "Can't Truss It." Yesterday, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis kicked things off with "Thrift Shop" as well as "Same Love" and "Crew Cuts." At one point, Macklemore jumped into the beach-loving crowd to ride an inflatable whale.

It was the first time Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were performing in Alabama and the two shared with MTV that they were having tons of fun. "You know what? [I] Immediately hit the catering … catfish!" said Macklemore about how he was spending his downtime. "You can't go wrong with catered catfish at a festival. It came with some sauce, the sauce was great. That was amazing and then we walked out and there's hammocks and I fell asleep for like two hours."

There's more hip-hop to come. The ubiquitous Kendrick Lamar will perform tonight. His performance and all of the sets can be streamed live online. MTV, VH1 and CMT will be on the ground at Hangout 2013, bringing you all the latest news, interviews, performances and more from the Shores. If you're not able to be there, be sure to check in and watch live streaming performances all weekend.

GULF SHORES, Alabama — MTV News' Sway Calloway said it from the stage, but after watching Rock and Roll Hall of Fame hip-hop icons Public Enemy tear it down on Saturday afternoon on day two of the Hangout Festival, there was no doubt: PE are a national treasure.

In an early-afternoon set in the Boom Boom Tent that had the audience shouting along to a set of iconic hits, Chuck D, Flavor Flav and the rest of the crew hardly took a breather while serving up titanic anthems including opener "Can't Truss It," which left no doubt where the bass was gonna hit the fans packed into the tent.

With Chuck already running the show, Flav ran out in an all-orange Air Jordan T-shirt and shorts set, complete with matching high-tops, and the longtime foils punched the air along to the incredible thump of "911 is a Joke."

What's amazing about PE in 2013 is that lyrical hydrogen bombs like "Welcome to the Terrordome" haven't lost an inch of their punch, even on an audience that looked like most hadn't been born when the songs first hit.

Just saw @publicenemyftp at #hangoutfest--best show ever. All other performers: you're on notice!

Swinging his microphone like a baseball bat and tossing it in the air, Chuck smiled as, yes, the drummer got wicked, bashing out the song's thunderous beat while DJ Lord kept things moving with the Bomb Squad's signature chaotic backing tracks.

Flav took a turn on bass for "Bring the Noise," which got the crowd hopping up and down and waving their hands, and then a cappella beatboxed his way into "Don't Believe the Hype."

Flavor Flav on the drums at Public Enemy #Hangoutfest instagram.com/p/Zd-VJ5gwUQ/

They may have been listening to Baby Einstein when most the songs were recorded, but the crowd shouted along to "Hype" as if it was a brand new track. DJ Lord gave them something else to relate to during his spotlight, mixing the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" with the drum break from Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," spinning back the song's legendary intro over and over until the whole house was losing its mind.

Before 1987's "Timebomb," Chuck gave a shout out to MTV's own "Yo! MTV Raps" for its early support, one of several nods to the network during the show. As the time ticked down, the audience raised their power fist for "Fight the Power," alternating it with a peace sign and middle finger during a set-closing plea from Flav against racism and separatism.

"Peace!" he yelled, as embraced Sway and thanked his old friend for all the support over the years.

@flavorflav @mrchuckd #publicenemy #hangoutfest caught the set list and a towel!!!!
GULF SHORES, Alabama — As one of the select hip-hop headliners at this weekend's Hangout Festival, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had some serious priorities. Yes, one was representing for the genre, but the other was crushing one of the local delicacies while hanging out in the plush artist area before their Friday night set.

Mack and Lewis have played a lot of festivals, but Hangout was a whole new experience for them. "You know what? [I] Immediately hit the catering … catfish!" said Macklemore during some downtime before the duo's high-energy set in the Boom Boom Tent. "You can't go wrong with catered catfish at a festival. It came with some sauce, the sauce was great. That was amazing and then we walked out and there's hammocks and I fell asleep for like two hours."

Then, the Seattle slayers just kicked back in the sand with MTV News' Sway Calloway and took in the "spectacles" laying out on the beach, which stretched as far as the eye could see. They were also psyched to get that headliner slot on Friday, which is another recent experience for them.

"For so long we would come to these festivals and it was show and prove time," said Macklemore. "'For real? They put us on at 1:15? All right, there's no one here but we gotta still kill it. To be in a prime time slow, closing out one of the stages of the day, it's dope. I miss that, 'okay, we have to be hungry, we have to show these fools what's up so in a couple years when they book us again we're gonna get that spot.' But to have that spot finally, it's great."

And they didn't disappoint, capping a hectic day of beachside music with a set heavy with their breakthrough hits,

and taking a minute to talk about their support for marriage equality during "Same Love."
