Congratulations to California rapper Game who successfully proposed to his girlfriend of seven years Tiffany Cambridge. Earlier today Game popped the big question to the mother of his two young children and a shocked Tiffany happily accepted.

Game staged the big surprise at Frank D. Parent Elementary School, where Cambridge works as a teacher. The school's principal even got in on the plan, calling Cambridge to an afterschool "meeting" where Game was waiting anxiously with the couple's two children. Read More...

Beyoncé Reveals Baby Due Date

Many fans have been wondering when power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé would expect their first child almost immediately after their intimate New York wedding back in April of 2008. After plenty of speculation on the media’s part, the big day was finally revealed last night by the mother-to-be herself.

Beyoncé was a guest on Australian network Channel 7’s “Sunday Night HD” talk show and the glowing diva proudly showed off her baby bump in a short simple fuchsia dress with her blond tresses styled in a curly flowing fashion. Although the interview jumped around and touched various subjects such as Beyoncé’s dance moves and her Destiny’s Child days, the announcement of the baby’s arrival in February of 2012 trumped all other news. Talib Kweli Shows Support For 'Occupy Wall Street'

After tweeting yesterday (October 6) that he would be heading to join protesters in Manhattan’s Financial District who have taken roost in the area as part of the vastly growing “Occupy Wall Street” movement, rapper Talib Kweli made good on his word last night and also performed a new song titled "Distraction" for the swelling crowd.

The Brooklyn native and longtime rhyme veteran corralled the revelers around him as he delivered an acapella verse although street noise and police sirens wailed away in the background. Talib has often shunned the socially conscious rapper label, but his sharp and pointed lyrics spoke directly the passion that inspired the jobs creation and social inequality protests. Read More...

Beyoncé's Confusing 'Countdown' Lyric Revealed

Nobody paints a picture like Beyoncé, through her lyrics Bey tells stories of love and heartbreak all with a street-bred swagger. More than an R&B or pop artist, Queen B frequently drops hip-hop slang in her music and as the clock ticks towards the Diva’s “Countdown” video premier at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV I have to admit that one of the song’s lines has flown over my head. I’ve been racking my brain, asking my Twitter followers and searching online lyric sites trying to find the answer.

During the track’s bridge I hear Beyoncé singing “Me and my boo in my boof coupe ridin’,” but then that begs the question: What the heck is a “boof coupe?” At first I figured it was some type of expensive car way out of my tax bracket, so I deferred to my Twitter followers. Read More...

Dancehall Star Vybz Kartel Charged With Murder

Award winning veteran dancehall artist Vybz Kartel was formally charged Monday (October 3) night with murder, illegal possession of a firearm and conspiracy to murder. The 35-year-old was originally arrested last Friday (September 30) for marijuana possession.

A news release from police officials said that Vybz, born Adidja Palmer, was questioned by detectives from Jamaica’s Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) with Palmer’s attorneys present. A preliminary hearing for today was rescheduled after a miscommunication on the court docket resulted in a no-show from the singer. Read More...

T.I. Gets Customized 'Beats By Dre' Headphones

This past Sunday southern rapper T.I. held a private brunch to kick-off the next wave of his AKOO clothing line at a private location in Atlanta. At the top of the event surrounded by family and friends Tip received a prestigious gift from Dr. Dre's highly touted "Beats By Dre" headphones. T.I. is just one of a few selected artists to receive their own customized headphones line from the legendary producers highly successful brand. "I never receive gifts" a joking T.I. said as his family seated close by joined in the laughter. The black and gold headphones bear the wording "Salute The King" on one side with the interior bearing a more personal message, "Big Phil" a nod to T.I.'s slain childhood friend Philant Johnson who was gunned down in 2006.
