Rick Ross Closes Out SXSW With Surprise Appearance

Rick Ross brought his own brand of starpower to the closing night of South by Southwest. The FADER FORT was packed to the brim all week, hosting acts like Kendrick Lamar, The-Dream and 2 Chainz, but the "TBD" spot for their closing set on Saturday night was the subject of much speculation. Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and Eminem had all shown up earlier in the week, so it was reasonable to assume that hip-hop's reigning titan would also get in on the action. Read More...

A$AP Rocky's SXSW Concert Ends With A Fight

A$AP Rocky's rowdy stage show turned into an all-out brawl early this morning at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Reports are surfacing that Rocky and his A$AP Mob cadre had a throwdown with a drunken crowd around 3:00am at the Vice Kills Texas party in Austin. Apparently, there had also been a small scuffle earlier in the show during which a stage diver grabbed one of the A$AP Mob's do-rags. Read More...

Wiz Khalifa Links Up With Juicy J At SXSW

Juicy J headlined Green Label Sound's official SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas on Friday night (March 16) and he brought out a few Taylor Gang friends to keep him company. Wiz Khalifa joined the Three Six Mafia rapper onstage at Club DeVille, along with Chevy Woods and Lola Monroe. Eminem will forever stand by his protege, friend and business ally 50 Cent. Fif has been at work on his next solo LP for the past couple years, hanging out with close pal boxer Floyd Mayweather, while the two men who've played an instrumental part in his career; Eminem and Dr. Dre, have been visibly absent for the most part. Until now. 50 Cent made a rare appearance in Austin, Texas on Friday night to perform his classic 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin' in its entirety, and fans who were hoping for that rumored Eminem performance were not the least bit disappointed.
