Kanye West called into Hot 97 earlier this week to explain why he wasn't happy with his ranking on MTV News' 'Hottest MCs' list, and one of the highlights of that phone call was him declaring that he'd given roundtable moderator Sway Calloway his first TV! Ab-Soul’s Control System isn’t by any means a light listen, but one of the most moving songs on the album is “The Book of Soul,” which addresses his struggle with Stevens-Johnson syndrome and the daunting loss of his former girlfriend, Alori Joh, last year.
