Last week, the “RapFix Live” couches were graced with the presence of none other than Philadelphia veteran rhyme slinger Beanie Sigel and the self-proclaimed Broad Street Bully gave our host Sway plenty of food for thought as he discussed his time with Roc-A-Fella Records, his State Property crew and his upcoming music projects. However, a telling portion of the show happened when Sway dug into the past and asked Beans about his relationship with former boss at Roc-A-Fella Dame Dash.

After a brief video clip that showed Dame Dash declaring his love and support for his estranged crew – including Jay-Z – after the Roc label split, Beans spoke a bit about his connection with Dash and what transpired between the two during their time together. After a long and reflective pause, Beanie answered Sway’s question about the pair’s relationship as it stands today. “I mean I love Dame, just like he say he loves me,” said a subdued Beanie. “It ain’t no communication. I haven’t talked to Dame. I don’t talk to him.” Read More...

For the past decade lyricist Beanie Sigel has been the author of some of Hip-Hop's most dominating rap bars. The original Roc-A-Fella Army may was no doubt a successful conglomerate of brainchild Jay-Z but it was the lyrically artillery from general B. Sigel that assisted Hov in extending a long lasting empire. In standard tradition, at the close of this weeks RapFix Live Sigel let go a few thunderous bars. Times may have changed but B. Mack's raps have not. Check the clip for more. Read More...

This past Wednesday’s (June 29) episode of "RapFix Live" was another special one as Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D. Music represented heavily on the couches with our host Sway holding down the interview duties.

Guests CyHi The Prynce and new G.O.O.D. Music recruit out of Nigeria D’Banj both graciously took on Sway’s inquiries with ease. However, D’Banj impressed Sway at the end with a customary freestyle verse even though he doesn’t consider himself a rapper. First was CyHi's slick-tongued verse that opened the show, then later it was D'Banj who impressed viewers at the end with an international-flavored freestyle verse. The funny thing is the Nigerian talent doesn't even consider himself a rapper – go figure! Read More...

Before even starting his interview with Sway during Wednesday’s episode “Rap Fix Live” G.O.O.D. Music signee CyHi the Prynce began with some pretty mean bars.

The Atlanta rapper went on a capella for almost two minutes, spitting lines like, “You seen the pimpin’ in my posture/ Steal your freak Prince of Thieves Kevin Costner/ I run through Hoes Herschel Walker/ She call me ‘daddy’ so I must be a foster.” From there, the MC who is signed to both Akon’s Konvict Music and Kanye’s label dropped more slick lines; “Reminiscing on all of my demolitions, I killed a bunch of rappers, put me under the prison/ Even if I was blind, you could still see my vision/ I feel like Akon, this Devyne’s intervention,” referencing Kon’s manager Devyne Stephens. Wednesday’s (June 29) episode of RapFix Live featuring G.O.O.D. Music artists CyHi The Prynce and D’Banj was more of the consistently fresh content viewers have come to expect from Sway and the RapFix Live team.

As one of the most thorough interviewers in the game, Sway got CyHi to open up about his previous label situation which revealed that the Atlanta rhyme slinger is no mere rookie – much like D’Banj who was also signed previously and a known star in his native Nigeria. Although the news of G.O.O.D. Music signing a deal with Island Def Jam was certainly huge, it was actually a full circle homecoming of sorts for CyHi. Read More...

Wednesday’s (June 29) latest episode of RapFix Live was a good one – pun intended – as G.O.O.D. Music signee CyHi The Prynce graced the couches with our own Sway with his confident and smooth presence. Nigerian artist D'Banj, newly signed to Yeezy's label, also joined in on the festivities.

Now part of the house that Kanye West built, the humble Atlanta MC has grown his brand the hard way using the street mixtape as his main vehicle. Fresh off releasing his fifth mixtape Royal Flush 2 in front of his debut album The Hard Way Musical, CyHi took on a question from Sway regarding former G.O.O.D. Music member Consequence and his heavy criticism of the label during a previous episode of RapFix Live. Read More...
