"I went to the show in Jersey last night but nothing compares to being at the Garden." That's how the conversation began when I ran into my longtime friend Remo Da Rapstar while entering MSG, on my way to tonight’s Watch the Throne concert. The marquee read "Jay-Z And Kanye West: Watch the Throne" with a notice that the show was sold-out posted nearby in a vibrant blue color. Watching the number of New Yorkers filing into the revamped arena, there was no questioning that the Garden would be packed to capacity. Hov has been known to launch a few landmark shows at the "World’s Greatest Arena" and may be another one for the books.

Tonight RapFix is live blogging from the New York City stop on the Watch the Throne tour. We were there for the launch in Atlanta, we followed up with North Carolina and brought you New Jersey this past weekend. Tonight, Hov and Ye's trek gets even more exciting as the pair raise the levels on the Richter scale. Stick with us throughout the night for another memorable evening of hip-hop. Read More...

On Friday night (October 28) RapFix counted a grand total of 36 songs performed at Atlanta's Phillips Arena for the Watch the Throne tour kick-off. Between The Throne's collaborative songs and Kanye West and Jay-Z's bountiful individual hits, there was plenty of material to go around. Tracks ranged from recent singles like "N---as in Paris" to, Jay-Z's classic "Hard Knock Life" and, of course, "Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Remix)." In lieu of listing all 36, we've included an abbreviated set list along with extra commentary on highlighted tracks, pulled from our detailed live blog yesterday. Read More...

From Paris to New York, with love.

On Tuesday (December 14), as Diddy combs the promotional road with Dirty Money in support of their debut LP Last Train To Paris, MTV News' Sway is hanging with the trio. Beginning with New York's Hot 97 radio show to "The View," Diddy, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper executed their performances of "Coming Home" flawlessly as Sheri Sheppard looked on — right after media veteran Barbara Walters spoke words we never thought we'd hear from the vet. "... With his hit 'All About The Benjamins,' welcome Sean 'Diddy' Combs," said Walters on her morning talk show. Even Ms. Goldberg laughed.

Now, after meeting the Bad Boy camp at their Times Square offices in New York City's brightest district, RapFix is checking in with Sway and the team. Make sure you check back with RapFix for the most up-to-date info on Diddy-Dirty Money!

8:05 It's official, I couldn't give you all the juice. My day with Diddy-Dirty Money must come to an end. The reason? Diddy has to tend to private business. However, Kalenna and Dawn are still getting ready for the UStream party tonight at 10 p.m. Don't forget to get all your computers, laptops, iPads, iPhones,or whatever electronic device you use ready for this extravaganza. The life of a CEO/Artist is not an easy one, but from the offices, to the streets, to the studio with Justin Bieber and finally back to the offices and on to the UStream party; no one does better than @IamDiddy!!! Last Train To Paris in stores and on iTunes now! @RealSway signing out

7:50 Diddy is back on the phones doing radio interviews and prepping for the live UStream party tonight at 10pm! Man, based on how he’s described what's going to taking place in that web party, you want to make sure you have popcorn. This party is going to be serious. Turn off your cell phones, house phones and have plenty of ice to cool off!

After traveling across the country, Drake will close his Lights Dreams And Nightmares Tour—the first headlining run of his career—on Saturday (November 6) in Las Vegas. Honestly, this night is also special because a certain Young Money Cash Money affiliate may grace the stage alongside Drizzy. Are you ready?

1:44 a.m. SC: One last shot of the crowd in Las Vegas as they depart possibly the best concert they've ever seen.

1:38 a.m. JR: The crowd is chanting "Weezy, Weezy, Weezy" as Drake ends the night. He's bringing out the whole OVO click and thanking the fans for supporting him during the past eight months. Drake is shouting out Wayne, saying "It's great to have you home. Young Money, we back together. I promise you we will not disappoint you."

1:35 a.m. RD: The building is speechless.

1:33 a.m. JR/SC: Drake's performing "Over." Drake says "Tonight is the best night of his life!" Sparks are streaming from the ceiling of the stage, the show is peaking. 11:33 Young Money insider posts first photo of a free Lil Wayne, while Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine and Cortez Bryant share their thoughts. "FREE AT LAST!" Bryant tweeted. "Ya heard me yea!"

10:47 Young Money/Cash Money crew spotted entering Manhattan hotel.

8:35 A spokesperson for inmate information at Rikers Island confirmed to MTV News that Lil Wayne has been discharged. We are currently tailing a Department of Corrections bus headed into Manhattan.

8:00 A caravan of some eight vehicle (Maybachs, Phantoms and Escalades) left a Manhattan hotel where other members of the Young Money/Cash Money camp -- including Nicki Minaj -- have been spotted.

Lil Wayne had been scheduled to be released early Thursday morning (November 4) after an eight month sentence stemming from a 2007 gun arrest after a concert at Manhattan's Beacon Theater.

"Between the hours of 1 - 2 a.m. ... WEEZY IS COMING HOME," Drake tweeted. Sources close to Wayne had also maintained that the rapper will be released early Thursday.

MTV News was one the scene outside Rikers Island, delivering up-to-the-minute coverage of Lil Wayne's release throughout the night, and into this morning.

7:20 Most of the reporters and paparazzi have long since left, along with all of the fans who showed up to welcome Weezy home. After we were told "He's not getting out tonight," most stayed, but by now have long since left.

Another guard said, "Not today. Maybe tomorrow. But definitely not today".

Then he called over another guard to corroborate his story.

For now, we're going to continue to wait. When Wayne does actually get out, we want to be here.

6:07 "I'm here until ... he gets out," on rain-soaked fan, Alex Cirio, told us. "I'm here."

Likewise, Alex.

Are you ready? We're locked in to MTV for the premiere of Kanye West's "Runaway" film. Yes, we've already seen it but is there ever really too much unbridled creativity, combining cinematic beauty with pure hip-hop? Exactly.

"Runaway" is premiering right now on MTV, MTV2 and BET, as well as streaming live on MTV.com, BET.com and VH1.com. The film will be followed by a live Q&A session with West on MTV and MTV.com.

We checked in with Swizz Beatz on his take of "Runaway" and here's what he said.

"On a 1 to 10, it was a 9," said Swizz, before defending his ruling. "The reason why it was a 9 was because it should've been longer. It was a deep, deep story and you have to, one, know Kanye, to really understand it."

"Runaway" follows 'Ye after he rescues a phoenix, played by the lovely Selita Ebanks, and tries to integrate the bird into his human world with varying results.

For Swizz, whether critics applaud or pan the piece, Kanye is the victor.

"We're all in here watching him live his dream, so that means he won," he said.

Here we go.

Are you ready for @kanyewest's 'Runaway' premiere? We are. Turn to MTV right now for Ye's cinematic debut!

Just listened to @nickiminaj narrate the intro to @Kanyewest's 'Runaway'... you tuned into MTV?

By Shaheem Reid and Rahman Dukes

And we're back! It's the first night of Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares Tour in our hometown of New York City and we figure that Young Money's star won't let the rainy weather stop his flow.

Drake's tour is his first as the headliner and he's said that it's also the first time he'll be able to perform Thank Me Later debut in its entirety. What's our favorite song? Hm... it's hard to say but we are holding our breath for an appearance by Drake's Twitter wife, Nicki Minaj. Maybe Jay-Z will return the honor Drake paid him not long ago by rocking Yankee stadium during his Home and Home tour with the legendary Eminem? Who knows, but the lights have gone down, the curtain's up and Rahman and Shaheem are in the building... let's do it!

9:15: "9am in Dallas" freestyle starts the show. Drake is actually standing sideways at the mic stand instead of facing the audience. Ok, he turns to us now. "Forever." Reaction is sick!

9:20: Any way you put it bitch I made it!" Drake just murdered "Show Me a Good Time." Tells the band to "break down my favorite song.". "I'm home baby." Superstar status.

9:22: You can definitely feel Drake's energy in here. Only special rappers have been able to perform in Radio City. Shows how big the Canadian sensation is.

9:26: Drake introduces himself to the crowd, "My name is Drake but my homey Lil Wayne named me Drizzy so if you put it together you can call me Drizzy Drake."

9:31: Six person band. Francis from Francis and the Lights comes out for "Karaoke."

9:33: Did the Snowman get scared off by the 80 degree weather in NYC?

9:36: Drake is singing Trey Songz' part in "Successful." The dude really has a voice. Read More...

Here we go. It's the second night of Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares Tour and the electricity in the air says Canada's golden boy will light up the theater for another straight night.

Drake's tour, his first as the headliner, marks the first time rap's It boy will have the opportunity to perform his Thank Me Later debut in its entirety. We just finished chopping it up with Drake, who had Lil Wayne on his mind, and why not, Miami became Weezy's second home after Hurricane Katrina forced Cash Money, and many other New Orleanians, out of the Crescent City. More on that later but for now, we're bring you all of the latest updates throughout the night. Jayson and I are on deck and we got you covered like Antonio Cromartie on Randy Moss!

8:02: Drake's backstage doing a meet and greet with fans. He does them every show and the girls go crazy. Tyga's set just began.

8:05: On the elevator heading up to the stage area to watch Tyga, doors open up: DJ Khaled! The Miami mayor is brimming with energy. "We hooking up in the studio later, right," he asks. The 1515 Boys might have some exclusives to deliver this week.

8:19: Drake is in a disclosed area taking flicks with a number of fans. One guy who's with his son who can't be any older than ten comes up to me and asks "You have a sharpie?"

8:11: Young Money is in the building. Mack Ma-a-a-a-ane is here supporting Tyga, he's standing stage left. Fitting "Loyalty" is booming through the speakers.

8:22: Khaled just finished a surprise turn on stage with Tyga. The Miami DJ rocked the house with "All I Do Is Win." He got plenty of high fives afterward and a big hug from Mack Maine.

8:25: Tyga's not R&B guy, but the LA native has the ladies in the James L. Knight Theater screaming as his DJ plays R.Kelly and Usher. He's tossed his jacket and shirt to the side. Now he's performing "Dueces" sans Chris Brown, audience shrieks are on ten.

8:34: Just ran into Khaled backstage. He's bout to get busy with Busta Rhymes. Just said 'wassup' to my man Rick Ross and the legendary DJ Scoob Doo. Feels like I'm in NY!

9:00: The music begins. Lights are flashing. Drake's team is making their way to the stage, show's about to start. "9AM in Dallas" is the kick-off number.

9:10: Birdman just arrived to catch the show, Khaled stuck around and TONS of women here pushing up on stage.

9:20: It's a Cash Money/Young Money family affair tonight in Miami. Drake told us before the show he's buying property in the Sunshine State as a second resident; he's not leaving Toronto. Bow Wow is also backstage with Slim, showing love to Mr. Graham.

9:50: Just had a nice talk with Bun B on the elevator. Said to him 'It's that time of the year again - Hottest MCs.' He looked shocked 'Already?' Just as I'm telling J-Rod I look to my right and who's standing next to us, LeBron James. I'm still a fuming Knicks fan over that ESPN 'Decision' special mess.

9:54: During the breakdown to "Shut it Down" Drake did a quick segue into "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B featuring Bruno Mars. Just last week during the VMAs, Bruno Mars was covering Drake during he and Bobby Ray's rehearsals.

10:06: Some of the ladies in VIP had to take a seat to rest their feet! They were dancing in them heels. Bun B makes them jump back to their feet when he joined Drizzy for "Miss Me."

10:15: Just saw a guy backstage with a 'Free Weezy' shirt that had a hacksaw going through a cake. I've seen more free weezy shirts than LeBron James jerseys. Irony is today we flew out of LaGuardia airport right over Rikers Island. #freeweezy. Almost home!

10:20: Bun B just got here in time to see Rick Ross take the stage to "B.M.F." and kill his hometown crowd. Even the girls in six-inch heels were mean mugging. You know the opening lines...
