Drake Returns To 'Club Paradise' Tour After Illness

Drake has returned back to the road following brief bout of illness. On March 3rd, the rapper/singer tweeted that he had a stomach flu and would not be able to hit a Dallas, TX nightclub date following his Club Paradise show, "Seeing a doctor about this stomach flu...UTA gave me life! Rick Ross Named Hottest MC, Fans React

Twitter was abuzz with fan reaction to MTV2's Hottest MCs list tonight. The annual list of rappers was collated by MTV's brain trust of producers, programmers and writers and based upon the following criteria for artists over the past year: Impact, Sales, Lyrics, Style and Intangibles. Tonight the top half of the list was revealed with Rick Ross taking the top spot followed by Drake, Kanye, Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne (initially Lil' Wayne landed at #3 but following a majority vote was taken down to #4). The remainder of the list: Jay-Z at #6 followed by Meek Mill, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and rounding out the bottom, Wale. Read More...

On Wednesday (December 6), MTV News kicked off the second annual Hottest Breakthrough MCs competition, which will spotlight the ten up-and-coming rappers who lit up the hip-hop game in 2011. Each day we’ll highlight two new Hottest Breakthrough MCs before concluding on December 13, when the polls close at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC will be revealed during December 14's episode of "RapFix Live," where the winner will appear on the show.
