As Grand Hustle captain T.I. makes his slow climb back atop the rap ranks, the self-proclaimed “King Of The South” has been behind the scenes working on a proper comeback befitting of his title. While fans are most certainly awaiting to hear his collaboration with Big K.R.I.T. “I’m Flexin’” in its entirety, Tip pops up on the remix for buzzing southern act Future and the club-ready single “Magic.”

Atlanta mixtape fixture DJ MLK dropped the remix yesterday (September 27) to the masses, with the song popping up in droves across the Web. T.I. sounds rejuvenated, exhibiting no signs of ring rust after his time away. “Off the top, I’m bossed up/If you ain’t talking money, don’t talk to us/I’m steady stacking that guap up/Ball harder than you when I’m locked up/You the type of ni--- just pop up/When ni---- rolling that kush, huh?/Got mine growing like grape vines/in the backyard, come look bruh!/” – okay Tip, we hear you loud and clear. For 25-year-old Atlanta MC Future, things are certainly looking bright for the young and rising rapper. Already establishing himself as part of rap’s newest faces with a memorable feature on YCs’ club smash “Racks” and standing out on his own with down south favorite “Watch This” featuring A1/Freebandz compatriot Rocko, Future recently inked a major label deal with L.A. Reid and the Epic Label Group where Reid, a former executive of Island Def Jam, now resides as CEO.

Born Nayvadius Cash and reared in the infamous Zone 6 section of Atlanta, Future has been working towards his goal over the past few years with glimpse of success– and the rapper is well connected to some of Atlanta’s rap royalty. In his Fab 5 profile interview on MTV News, Future shared how he received his namesake and also revealed that he is the younger cousin of Organized Noize (Outkast, Goodie Mob) producer Rico Wade. In standard RapFix Live tradition, at the close of every show the featured guest for the program is expected to display their lyrical skills for the RapFix audience. In the recent months, Game, Beanie Sigel, Cali Swag and CyHi Da Prynce are just a few names to raise the stakes with their respective freestyle sessions. At the conclusion of our Fab 5 edition of RapFix Live Pittsburgh native Mac Miller showed just why he's more than capable to play with the big boys. Looks like the good folks at Rostrum Records have another budding star on their hands. This kid has bars for days.

Yesterday during our Fab 5 edition of RapFix Live Atlanta upstart Future put a new meaning into his name. Shortly after being introduced to the viewers for his first live interview, the ATL native gave RapFix a preview of some of the material he was working on in the studio, as well outside of the studio. Mid way through his song "Run Through A Chick" Future was interrupted by a bevy of beauty who crowded the downtown Atlanta studio to give the rapper some "inspiration" for his new track. Joined by the eye candy for his interview, Future went on to elaborate on his joint "Free Bricks" mixtape with Gucci Mane and says that he shares a similar work ethic with his fellow Georgia citizen. It was a moment that will go down in the RapFix Live record books. Hit the clip for a glimpse of the action.

For years upstart Philadelphia MC Meek Mill has walked the fine line between making a name for himself in the city as the next big rapper and maintaining his credibility in the streets. Meek has been cracking the pot known as the hip-hop game for some time, with minor stints alongside household rap names such as T.I. and breifly 50 Cent. But it wasn't until Mill aligned with Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group when things began to take off.
