Nicki Minaj and Willow Smith are honestly, a match made in heaven. With Nicki's forays into the pop realm through tracks like "Check It Out" and "Your Love," it's only right that the black Barbie put her lipstick stain on Willow's musical debut "Whip My Hair."

However, despite our excitement we learned that this collaboration may not be genuine. MissInfo, and our boy LowKey indirectly, reported that Nicki's verse on the track isn't fresh. This makes us sad.

"I was on my way to school I do's me, hopped out the drop, grabbed my juicy," rhymes Nicki. "I hopped skipped and jumped passed them hoopties but wait I forgot to grab my loose leaf /I doubled right back b-back like who's that I did the little dance like kat da boom kat, I love how the jocks be watching me me so I grab my crotch and be like 'hehe.' "

"I be like bomstiggegtybom when I pop my gum, they looking dumbstiggegtydumb think they stopping somethin'/ I said excuse me honey, I'm the bugs bunny, all that frontin' bout my carats and he ain't got nothing fo' me/Cause we're the mean girls, yes we're so fetch, and when we're in the yard we're jumping double dutch/ we're back to the future, Pearl you're with the best!" she continued.

Further proof this rhyme is dated, Nicki mentioned the name of the artist she originally collaborated with.

"After listening a few times, this is actually an old Nicki Minaj verse," typed blogged Karen Civil. "The verse is actually off of California Bay artist Pearl Future’s song  ”Lookin At Me” which was released in 2009."

So it's not a real Nicki Minaj and Willow Smith collaboration, but we can still hope right? Someone call Barbz... now. Elsewhere in Barbie world, Nicki Minaj performed her duet with will.i.am on "Late Show with David Letterman" last night (October 4).

Drake is everywhere. From performing his first headlining concert at New York City's Radio City Music Hall to possibly shooting a clip with Rihanna and performing tonight (October 5) at the Best Buy theater in support of his So Kodak camera promotion, it's non-stop Drizzy Drake. And this morning, the MC-cum-singer released "I Get Lonely Too," the first single from his forthcoming R&B mixtape It's Never Enough slated to drop later this year.

We must admit, this song is going to receive the serious repeat treatment. We're in an R&B mood today, maybe it's the rain, or the fact that we ran Waka Flocka's "No Hands" featuring Wale and Roscoe Dash for almost four hours yesterday. You tell us. Anyway, we're not the only ones that love Drake's emo-tinged songs.

"He talks about his life, instead of like, sex drugs and alcohol all the time," said a female fan outside of Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares concert last month, sporting braces and the cover of Drake's first mixtape emblazoned on her t-shirt. "It's about his life, his feelings, girls... his loves in life."

"I think he sings better live, he just really gets into it," added another fan.

Elsewhere, Aubrey fans through jabs at the stage game of other MCs. No shots... sort of.

"He actually knows how to perform unlike a lot of other rappers and singers these days," said one girl, with a smirk.

"He knows how to get the ladies and he knows how to give a great performance," said another girl. "The lightening was awesome, any seat you're in you're going to love the show."

If you liked the honest lyrics of Nicki Minaj's newest single "Right Thru Me," then you'll love her forthcoming clip.

In the video, directed by Richard Lee, who most recently led Eminem's "Not Afraid" video which was also extremely personal, Nicki ditches her crazy clothes and hair colors. Instead, she's showcasing a side of herself most of her fans have never seen before: a sensitive, softer one.

Last month, Minaj told MTV News on the Los Angeles set of "Right Thru Me" this was her plan because this song is extremely close to her heart.

"The song is [about] just being in awe at another human being's ability to know you so well," she said. "This is going to be different, in that, usually, I'm over the top, but in this one, I'm going to pull back a little bit."

Sporting plain black hair and pedestrian outfits, a plain clothes Nicki Minaj acts out the ups and downs of a relationship in "Right Thru Me" with a love interest. This is her third official single, following "Massive Attack" and "Check It Out," from her forthcoming highly anticipated LP Pink Friday, which drops November 23.

The Queens native scored three trophies overall at the BET Hip-Hop Awards filmed over the weekend: Rookie of the Year, People's Champ and the Made You Look award, which was awarded in recognition of her fashion flair.

Sporting a black dominatrix-like outfit, blond bob, pink nails and lipstick, Minaj took to the stage to accept her first award and was overcome by the recognition.

"Last year, I was here in anticipation of the cypher," she told the crowd, referring to the artist rap freestyles that run in between the award presentations and performances. "Now I'm here in anticipation of my debut. [Pink Friday, set for release November 23.] I'm paving the way for girls, I wanna thank all the girls of hip-hop."

After hitting Atlanta's Club Miami this weekend (shout to Stix Malone and DJ Holiday), it's clear that Waka Flocka Flame is undeniably the city's hottest MC. So much so that the rapper cursed the BET's Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Music Programming Stephen Hill via Twitter following the BET Hip-Hop Awards this past Saturday (October 2) and Hill offered to squash their beef. It's the exact opposite of the Trae Da Truth situation.

Today (October 4), Waka stopped by MTV News  to talk about the incident.

"I wasn't even upset honestly," the rapper said about his early departure from the Awards show taping. "My label had some stuff set up for me to leave and do some stuff for my album. So I guess by me leaving, everybody was like 'oh, he mad.' but I just dipped, I ain't know what was going on."

The taping was reportedly smooth sailing except for a small snafu with Waka Flocka Flame's performance. The incident lead to a war of words on Twitter between the rapper and Hill. At the heart of Hill’s gripe was a change-up in the Atlanta rapper's performance that wasn’t planned.

“The show was going so well... and then Waka Flak-ed,” he wrote. “"Waka. Flacka. Flamed. Out."

“How the f--- you invite Waka Flocka and hate when I jump N the crowd to connect more wit fans and friends,” Waka tweeted in response. “ #rappers R robots lol.”

“I KICK A-- I DON’T KISS A--,” he continued.

Hill then explained himself further.

“We had a GREAT look for you. Flames on stage. Great lighting,” he wrote, in a long entry that exceeded Twitter’s 140 character limit. “My man Jesse (producer) was on it with your look. We'll put the rehearsal on BET.com so folks can see what it was supposed to be. Then you decided to change the track without telling us... and jumping in the audience... without telling us... was disrespect.”

After the pair exchanged tweets, Hill eventually offered an olive branch to Waka via Twitter in an effort to calm their war of words. Waka had yet to respond to the BET executive's request publicly but RapFix watched the rapper perform late Saturday night and say the following to a screaming crowd.

"Fuck BET n----," shouted a shirtless Waka into a microphone.

Today however, Mr. "Hard In The Paint" had a different response.

"Really I ain't get to dig into it yet, but I'm in New York now, so we can sit down," he said. "I know it's cool though, we're not arch enemies or anything. I'm not mad at nothing, I've got an album coming out, I'm happy. I'm 24, I passes 21 I'm good. I'm financially almost straight, so I made BET, I got nominated. That's a blessing, ain't too many people that can say that"

He's even ready to talk to Hill, whom he dissed repeatedly on Twitter.

"Of course, why not?" said Waka. "That's the man, the big dog. he paved the way for a lot of people to be seen so it's like how could you slap an arm down like that? That would be like, dumb."

What do you think of Waka's beef with Stephen Hill? Cool or not cool? Tell us in a comment below or tweet us at @MTVRapFix and let us know.

Lil Wayne is expected to leave Riker's Island on November 4, so the countdown to the megastar MC's return is in full swing. Still, few are as excited as the MC's daughter Reginae.

Wayne's ex-wife Antonia "Toya" Carter told MTV News on the BET Hip-Hop Awards black carpet Saturday that she and her daughter with Weezy are more than ready for Wayne's release next month.

"It's very exciting," Carter said with a smile. "Especially when you have a little girl that's anticipating his return. We're looking forward to that. It's very exciting."

Wayne's incarceration has been difficult on his tween daughter, who dealt with the many false starts surrounding his sentence earlier this year, which was delayed due to dental work and a courthouse blaze.

"The last day he finally went in, we didn't go, so my daughter was like, 'I wish I would've went.' It was just too much. I just didn't want to let her see that again 'cause both times she took it real hard," Carter told Vibe magazine. "So I was like, I'm not gon' let her go this last time. I'm just gon' make sure he talk to her 'cause I didn't know if he was really gonna go. They kept pushing back."

Ultimately, Weezy urged Toya to keep her head up for Reginae during the family's difficult period.

"At first my daughter would see me a little sad and you know kids they react off of your feelings sometimes, so he was just like, 'Be strong, make sure you take care of her. Make sure she straight and keep her phone on all the time so I can call her. The time is gonna fly by.' "

Time is almost up and Weezy has recently said that the first thing he plans to do when he's freed, presumably before his blowout homecoming concert, which might not even happen anymore, is see his children.

"[I'm going to] hug and kiss my kids," Wayne revealed during a phone call to MTV's "The Seven." "And, uh, after that, I don't think I'm allowed to say."

What do you think Lil Wayne should do first when he gets out of jail? Tell us in a comment below or tweet us at @MTVRapFix and let us know.

Who knew that even Dr. Dre doubted his progress on the long-delayed Detox LP? Thankfully, following his surprise performance alongside Eminem during the MC's Home and Home tour with Jay-Z and the rousing response the famed producer got from the crowd, we might see the LP sooner than later.

"The response from the people out there was just incredible," Dre said. "It let me know that I still got love out there and I'm not wasting my time in the studio with what I'm doing, with the music or with all the Beats product that we're putting out."

During a recent sit-down, Dre said the warm response motivated the beatmaster to hit the lab and get his much-anticipated and long-delayed follow-up into the hands of those screaming fans.

"Being on the stage with Eminem and Jay-Z was one of the most incredible feelings I've felt in a long time. It inspired me, it made me want to hurry up and get back in the studio and put more effort and more work into my own project," Dre told MTV2's "Sucker Free" on Wednesday (September 29) during an event for his latest venture, Beats by Dre.

The much-lauded producer said rocking the stage with his protégé-turned-pop phenomenon, Eminem, and his "Under Pressure" collaborator, Jay-Z, validated his current efforts and demonstrated that more than 10 years into the wait for Detox, hip-hop heads are still hungry for more Dre-helmed bangers.

"I can't explain it," he said. "It's an incredible feeling. It's not something that can be bought. You have to earn it, and it just made me feel just amazing."

If bodying the sales of your favorite rapper isn't enough to prove that Sade is the GOAT, how about Drake's undying crush on the Brit for proof?

"I'd love to work with Andre 3000 and I would love to work with Sade," Drake told MTV during the debut episode of the new show "The Seven."

Before the release of Thank Me Later, rumors flew that Toronto's golden boy would be working with one of R&B's most iconic recluses. Fans said if Drizzy could pull off a collaboration with Sade herself, maybe this kid really was the savior of all things hip-hop. Unfortunately, the duet—yeah, we assume the two would be harmonizing together—didn't happen but that didn't stop the kid from holding a candle.

"40, who produces all my music actually got a chance to work with her recently, so we're on the right path," he added.

Fortunately for Drake, and everyone else, Sade recently announced her 2011 North American tour dates and locations in support of her first LP in ten years, Soldier of Love. We suggest stashing your duckets for this show immediately. Oddly, her run begins in Baltimore but hey, with "The Wire" over, B-more needs love too.

Here are Sade's tour dates:

Jun 16: Baltimore, Md. (1st Mariner Arena)

Jun 19: Philadelphia, Pa. (Wells Fargo Center)

Jun 21: Uniondale, N.Y. (Nassau Coliseum)

Jun 24: East Rutherford, N.J. (Izod Center)

Jun 28: Toronto, Ontario (Air Canada Centre)

Jun 30: Montreal, Quebec (Bell Centre)

Jul 06: Boston, Mass. (TD Garden)

Aug 05: Chicago, Ill. (United Center)

Aug 19: Los Angeles, Calif. (Staples Center)

Aug 30: Anaheim, Calif. (Honda Center)

Best we ever had? Not only did we live blog Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall last night (September 29), we hit the streets to see what fans like you thought of the show.

"This Drake concert was definitely the concert of the year, awesome," said a young lady with blond hair.

Whoa, that's a bold statement. And she wasn't alone.

"Drake 2010, Radio City, Concert of the year," said a gent in a blue t-shirt.

Toronto's golden boy is absolutely enjoying the best year of his career, but he's not he only epic show of 2010. Remember Jay-Z and Eminem... Yankee Stadium... COMAMERICA Park? What about Wu-Tang rocking their debut LP Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) at Rock The Bells? A Tribe Called Quest? No? Ehn, we did agree with fans on one thing.

"As a performer, he was amazing, i think he did a good job and kept the audience entertained," said the gent in the blue shirt.

His subject matter also ropes in interest.

"He talks about his life, instead of like, sex drugs and alcohol all the time," said a female fan, sporting braces and the cover of Drake's first mixtape emblazoned on her t-shirt.

Kanye West doesn't like... hackers.

The fashionable MC announced last night (September 29) that he's suspending his "G.O.O.D. Fridays" series — in which he planned to provide fresh tracks every week through Christmas — this week after a track from his forthcoming album, the Bon Iver-sampling "Lost in the World," hit the Internet on Wednesday (September 29). Despite your resounding vote that the song was amazing, West wasn't crestfallen.

"Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I've decided to pass of Good Fridays this week," West tweeted late Wednesday. He continued: "It's messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone ... I love to take a year to finish my songs and deliver them to you guys in there most completed form.

"It would have seemed like since I give free music every week even the lowest form of human being would respect that enough not to leak unfinished songs from my real album," an agitated West added.

While West did not specify what had set him off, it appears that the leak of "Lost" angered him. The haunting song samples folkie Bon Iver's "Woods" and includes lyrics from legendary urban poet/musician Gil Scott-Heron. The song is the third from the rapper's still-untitled upcoming album to make its way online, following the rousing "Power," which surfaced in May, and the sardonic "Runaway," which 'Ye premiered during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Earlier, West had agonized over his inability to decide on a title for the album. He is also still contemplating its release date, which is rumored to be November 22.

"I'm finished with it, but when should I drop?" he asked.

Although there are still a few finishing touches to be made: He later added that four engineers are mixing the album so it can be finished as soon as possible, and he's talked about corralling some guests.

"In the lab with Soulja Boy and Cudi," he wrote early Thursday morning. "2 of my favorite most genius artist. Even in my disappointment about the leaks I feel blessed."

While we were live blogging Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares concert at New York's Radio City Music hall last night (September 29), Soulja Boy and 50 Cent were going in on Funk Flex's Hot 97 radio show. The two have been working together and released their collaborative record "Mean Mug" on September 23.

Turns out Soulja's in the big apple recording and grabbing up major artists as he pens more records. Not only did the thin MC catch up with Fif, he also took some time to edit a film with Kanye West. Soulja addressed what we're assuming is the pair's upcoming collaboration on air.

"Everybody in New York City done heard that new me and 50 "Mean Mug" that's brand new," said Soulja Boy. "While I been out here in New York, I actually hooked up with another big artist in hip-hop and I think this collaboration gone shock the people too. They gone like this one."

Flex tried to get a bit more juice but Crank Dat wasn't budging.

"I'ma let the song speak for itself when it drops," said Soulja."They gone be shocked, jaws dropped all over NY."

Later in the interview 50 Cent—who was sitting beside the youngster apparently getting his haircut... not in a barbershop... —chimed in and shared some journo rap news. You know Boo Boo can't keep a secret.

"We're getting ready to shoot the cover of XXL magazine," said Fif. "Soulja got the cover and I'm just getting in the background. I just felt like popping in, so i said 'I'ma come on in there, I'ma poke my head in."

The G-Unit General also spoke on LLoyd Bank' new song with... well, everyone including Eminem.

"Yeah, he's got a joint with Kanye, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie and one of Kanye's new artists from GOOD Music," added Fif.

Not sure exactly who the GOOD person is, but we imagine that Pusha would be the best candidate since his LP is coming up and he gave a dope performance during the VMAs.

What do you think of 50 working with Soulja Boy? Tell us in a comment below or tweet us at @MTVRapFix and let us know.
