Former Brooklyn Bady Boy Shyne was in the house, or in the tent, for the much hyped screening when he bumped into a few old chums: Jay-Z and Kanye West. Kanye produced for Shyne on one of his previous efforts while Hov remained close with Po, reportedly attempting to sign the now Jewish rapper upon his return from a ten year prison sentence. Miami Heats centerpiece of the highly touted "Big Three," LeBron James has snagged the NBA's 2011-2012 Most Valuable Player award. LeBron's latest MVP award was announced yesterday by the NBA and tomorrow James will officially be presented with the trophy at the Heats opening second round series against the Indiana Pacers.

The Miami Heat sealed a first round victory against the New York Knicks with a 94-106 victory winning the series 5-1. The action in the 2012 NBA playoffs continued on Monday night with its second elimination in the first round of the exciting series. Over in Tinseltown, the Los Angeles Clippers took a commanding 3-1 lead against the Memphis Grizzlies in overtime with a 101-97 victory putting them one game away from a series win in years. The Grizzlies were looking to even the series but the 27 point effort from Chris Paul and 30 point effort from a fouled out Blake Griffin was too much for the Grizzlies in the end. Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather secured a dominating win against an aggressive Miguel Cotto in his Las Vegas hometown. The superstar boxer increased his record to 43-0 defeating Cotto with a unanimous decision surrounded by a host of music stars. Pop sensation Justin Bieber helped introduce Floyd along with his best friend 50 Cent who were in his corner as the boxer made his way to the ring.
