Usher's Stepson Kile Glover Taken Off Life Support

After weeks following a tragic jet ski accident Kile Glover, the stepson of singer Usher Raymond and biological child of ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond was taken off of life support this morning. Kile fell into a coma following the July 16th accident and was soon pronounced brain dead as the family struggled with the decision to remove him from life support hoping for a turn in his condition. Lil Scrappy, Stevie J Square Off On 'Love & Hip Hop'

Estranged castmember Stevie J of the much talked about VH1 reality series "Love & Hip-Hop" went toe to toe with Lil Scrappy after a confrontation over Stevie insulting Scrap's main squeeze Erica. While security managed to swiftly end the brawl, Stevie J vowed to get back at Scrappy soon enough for the fight that also involved his pregnant mistress Joseline.

The 2012 Essence Music Festival successfully capped another year celebrating the African American culture in the New Orleans area. Artists including Mary J. Blige, D' Angelo, Trey Songz, Fantasia, Dru Hill, Eve, Carl Thomas, comedian Kevin Hart, Melanie Fiona and much more carried the bulk of the musical performances at the Mercedes Benz Super Dome day in and day out. Slaughterhouse, Common, Trey Songz Rep BET Awards Pre-Show

On Sunday night (July 1), a myriad of celebs descended on the 2012 BET Awards pre-show and red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Rodney King Laid To Rest In Los Angeles

Rodney King was laid to rest today in his Los Angeles hometown in an emotional going home ceremony. The Los Angeles Times reports that the civil rights figure was commemorated in a memorial open to the public with limited seating for invited guests that included family, friends and dozens of well wishers. A slide showing photos of King throughout his life were displayed on a screen above his casket that was embroidered with the infamous words "Can We All Get Along." According to NBC LA, the Reverend Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy that also included words from civil rights icon Jesse Jackson. Read More...
