Rick Ross lands on one of two covers for The Source’s October/November issue, making it his 5th time earning a front page spread on the magazine. In an interview with Shaheem Reid, Rozay reflects on his success, and celebrates his current position in the game as he gears up to drop his Mastermind album.
“It feel good as hell. When you look at these dope ass covers, just being on the bible, it still means that much to me,” Rozay says in the feature. “You understand? I’m going into my 6th album, my 5th cover just letting you know that every year they supported the team MMG. Get ready for the craziest Ricky Rozay story, as soon as you see me on the cover, pick it up, even if I’m not on the cover, still pick it up. It’s the culture.”
The issue features additional interviews from Cam’ron, Dom Kennedy, Vic Mensa, Ty Dolla $ign and kicks off the magazine’s 25th anniversary celebration with a look back at Tupac’s poetry and even an exclusive interview with the Notorious B.I.G.
The issue will be on newsstands November 26.
