Cee Lo Green Pleads Not Guilty To Felony Drug Charge

By Jason Brendler

Cee Lo Green plead not guilty on Monday (October 21) to felony charges of furnishing a controlled substance.

Last year when it was rumored that Cee Lo had drugged a women in a restaurant and the victim in question has brought charges against Green, claiming that he dropped ecstasy in her drink while they were out to dinner.

Luckily for Green, the prosecutors cleared him for charges of sexual assault due to insufficient evidence. His attorney, Blair Berk, stated that the claims of sexual assault were “false and unfounded” and that their relations were consensual.

However, for furnishing a controlled substance, he could face up to four years in state prison. The Grammy-winning singer, host of NBC’s “The Voice” and Goodie Mob member already reportedly had to post $30,000 bond and is awaiting trial.

Hopefully, for him, his not guilty plea will stand and he’ll be able to walk out of court and give the plaintiff a classic “Forget You.”
