Kate Upton And Snoop Dogg Spin ‘Just a Friend’ For Hot Pockets

In the latest installation of strange advertising campaigns, Snoop Dogg remixes Biz Markie’s classic “Just a Friend” to spread the word about the deliciousness of Hot Pockets, following his original ad last year.

Snoop’s “You Got What I Eat” is a jingle for the frozen sandwich brand’s new ad campaign. “I bake everywhere,” rhymes Snoop as the “Master Baker” in the spot, which features supermodel Kate Upton in a dream sequence and Bow Wow on assist.

“My buttery seasoning so hip/It drips/Tastes so good/Gotta lick your lips,” Snoop raps. The promo spot pits meat against crust and asks which #teammeat or #teamcrust brought the most flavor.

“I love working with the Hot Pockets sandwiches team,” Snoop says in a statement per Ad Week. “They let me do what I do and bring the funk out with their message, you know? We needed to top [previous video] ‘Pocket Like It’s Hot,’ and this video is so dope. It’s funnier, and we got the flyest girl in it with me.”

Back in 2012, Snoop pushed Hot Pockets while remixing his hit “Drop It Like It’s Hot” into “Pocket Like It’s Hot.” The song’s remix also includes verses from DeStorm Power and Andy Milonakis, who both appeared in a promo video at the time.
