RapFix handpicks a few UK hip-hop and grime gems for the week. Artists include Fekky, Krept & Konan, Margs, No Lay and ItsNate.

Fekky Feat. Tempa T – “Rudeboy Ting”

Fekky, a south London-reppin’ rapper, is joined by Tempa T, an east Londoner known for his angry grime, on a horn-heavy trap production for future club anthem, “Rudeboy Ting.” It’s probably one of the most unlikely pairings I’ve come across in a while but, actually, it’s kinda ill.

Krept & Konan Feat. Yungen – “Too Young”

Taken from their top 20 album mixtape (it recently peaked at No. 19 in the British album chart independently) south London’s punchline dons, Krept & Konan, cater to the ladies on “Too Young,” featuring a swaggerific verse from their Play Dirty crew member, Yungen.

Margs – “I Ain’t Got To Rap”

Margs from Mashtown drops some wordplay wickedness on “I Ain’t Got To Rap,” which is a little taster of what’s to be expected from his forthcoming mixtape, N.H.O.

No Lay – “Talking Money”

If you’re not talking gwop, No Lay doesn’t wanna know. The grime MC gets straight-to-the-point over a trap beat for her new one, “Talking Money.”

ItsNate – “All For The Night”

On “All For The Night,” ItsNate takes us through a day in the life of a partyboy living it up in the big LDN. Flamin produced the beat using a large slice of Ginuwine and Aaliyah’s 90s R&B classic, “Final Warning,” but, thankfully, it’s not overbearing. If anything, it adds to the too-cool-for-school rapper’s appeal.
