Just when you thought Papoose was done tossing lyrical grenades, the Brooklyn spitter is back with a vengeance, this time looking to blow up Big Sean’s spot with a remix of the Detroit player’s own “First Chain” for throwing shade his way in a recent interview.
Pap felt a way about the Hall of Fame MC’s feigned ignorance about his response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse when asked about it on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.
“Who?” Sean asked with a laugh. “Who? Who?”
Before releasing the diss track, the Nacirema Dream rapper took to Twitter to give the G.O.O.D. Music representer a chance to make a retraction.
“@BigSean u got 28 minutes 2 apologize,” Pap tweeted.

Apparently, Sean didn’t make the necessary public mea culpa, so Pap let the bars fly fast and furious: “Papoose, who? Boy I give you face shots/leave your eyes puffy like the n—a that made Mase hot” and “Big Sean album is trash, it sound wicked/in fights I be swinging like Will and Jada Pinkett.”
Pap didn’t stop there, though. He went at Kanye West, too: “Kanye wore a skirt, what was he trying to prove?” Although he took a jab at Sean’s entire label, he seemed to give a nod to Pusha T and even mentioned him while delivering another choice right hook to his current adversary, “Pusha must be selling the crack, and you smoking it.”
No word from Big Sean yet, but it looks like rappers like Papoose are on the alert for any slights aimed their way, imagined or otherwise.
