Jersey City rapper Ransom found out the hard way that one doesn’t get away with accusing Nicki Minaj of using ghostwriters. When TMZ caught up with the Queen of the Barbz in Los Angeles, she ethered her would-be accuser for challenging her pen game with a scathing salvo: “I rap better than him.”

“I’m not even a man and ni–as got my d-ck in they mouth,” said Nicki, who was rocking a blonde wig and a snug Alexander McQueen dress. “I slaughter these ni—as. Period.”

The song in question is Ransom’s “Man Alone,” which garnered a lot of attention for the line, “Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs, I was doing verses for her, just hoping she made it big.”

The Pink Friday MC went on to admit she hadn’t heard about Ransom, who appeared on her Playtime Is Over and Sucka Free mixtapes, in the last five years and pondered aloud: “how could a wack ni—a write her sh-t?”

“I’m undisputed because I’m the only female rapper that  [from] day one, I don’t need no mother—–n’ ghostwriter,” she added. “So if you telling that lie, you must be real f—in’ desperate and you still ain’t gon’ pop. How ‘bout that?”

After getting wind of the YMCMB empress’ comments, the artist born Randy Nichols backtracked on the implied meaning of his lyrics, tweeting that “as far as I know she writes her own,” prompting a swift retweet from Nicki and the following exclamation point-filled rebuttal:

“YES SIRRRR!!!!!!!! Always HAVE always WILL!!!!!!!! Thx!!! —> RT @201Ransom
@michaelsofamous as far as I know she writes her own,” she retweeted.
