She’s already sort of got beef with Rihanna and is determined to record with Drake, so it was only a matter of time before Amanda Bynes got offered a record deal, right? After expressing on Twitter (she expresses a lot of things on Twitter) that she wanted to be a rapper, the former Nickelodeon starlet finally got what she wanted.
Daniel Herman CEO of Chinga Chang Records revealed on Monday (June 10) that the company has extended an offer to Amanda. While many people are raising their eyebrows at this new development in Bynes’ rollercoaster year, Herman ensures that it’s a good move. "She's phenomenal and that's the crazy thing about this," Herman said, via Huffington Post. "This is the perfect home. This isn't just a gimmick."
Although Bynes hasn’t signed the contract, Herman is sure that the deal will be done by the end of the week. "You've got a girl that's very attractive and very talented. If you look at her actions and attitude she represents hip-hop a lot better than Drake.” Herman said. “Musically, this girl carries herself. She is hip-hop ... She is not crazy, she is not on drugs. She's just hip-hop! She's a great talent who is going to make some great records with some classic producers."
