Up-and-coming producer, singer and songwriter, I/O, is back after the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape, Isolation, with the highly anticipated visuals for “Wasted My Time.” Like his music, his latest video project proves to be original, progressive and thought-provoking–unlike anything in its genre.
The visuals for “Wasted My Time” provide a very trippy yet mesmerizing experience for its viewers. Directed and produced by Alex Lee & Kyle Wightman (the praised BRTHR Film team) the video for the mixtape’s stand out track chronicles I/O’s understanding of the concept of time. The Harlem-bred singer’s newest release includes graphic images and animations that fully demonstrate why time is an illusion. It’s surreal, it’s relatable and most of all it’s forward-thinking.
