Rihanna is giving her club anthem, "Pour It Up," a rapper makeover with Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J and T.I. RiRi released the remix on Wednesday (March 20) and fans on Twitter have already started voicing their opinions.
"Pour It Up remix is out... get out the stripper pole," said one fan while another said, "I'm going to go with Juicy J having the best verse on the "Pour It Up" remix. The "Yeah Hoe" ad lib always appreciated."
Some immediately loved the revamp and felt that the new cast added extra grittiness. "I. Need. Ratchet." said one person and others added in, "Pour it up #RIHmix has me going right now!! " and "Pour it up REMIX makes me really wanna go to the strip club N smack some asses." Others felt that the song didn't need a remake and preferred the Mike WiLL-helmed original."Pour it up" didn't need a remix though.. Queen slayed on her own" shared a fan.
Music aside, Rihanna continued to make headlines in her personal life as she recently reconciled with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. In a candid interview with Rolling Stone, she confirmed how the making up happened."I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake,” she shared about getting back together with Brown after he famously assaulted her in 2009. “After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."
