Kid Cudi Previews Indicud Verse At SXSW

By Sidney Madden

Kid Cudi is prepping his latest album Indicud for release in April, and he spit a new verse from the LP while performing at the South by Southwest Music and Film Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX on Thursday night via MissInfo. (March 14).

The Cleveland rapper released his last solo album in 2010 and has since been dabbling in acting, appearing on “One Tree Hill,” “How to Make It in America” and most recently, lending his voice to FOX’s “The Cleveland Show,” in addition to releasing WZRD with Dot Da Genius.

But since announcing his new album, Indicud, Cudi seems to be claiming 2013 as his rap comeback year and the confident acappella verse he premiered proves it. Collaborations on Indicud will include RZA, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Too $hort and Michael Bolton.
