Snoop Dogg made an unexpected move when he posted a flick on Instagram posing with former Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight last week. Considering Snoop and Suge’s very public falling out, fans were shocked when the artist currently known as Snoop Lion shared the snapshot with the caption, "N d club wit Suge miss those death row days!"
In an interview with DJ Skee, Snoop Lion addresses the photo saying, “I think time heals all wounds… and then being a bigger man and being one who accepts responsibility and right or wrong, I like saving lives, I don’t like to take lives. If that means putting my hand out saying I’m wrong, I apologize and we be cool, I’ll do that… as opposed to me going behind my back, pulling a gun out and getting somebody or me doing something vicious to you.”
There’s no secret that the two previous label mates have had their fair share of beef in the past. After Snoop departed from the label in the mid-1990s, rumors spread that the two had a disagreement. The dispute was even made public when Snoop Dogg released the record “Pimp Slapp’d”, an obvious diss aimed at Suge.
It’s good to see that Snoop and Suge have moved past the drama, letting bygones be bygones. Maybe, we’ll see more from these two?
In the meantime, Snoop is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming album entitled, Reincarnation. The project is slated to be released on April 23, and will feature appearances by Drake, Busta Rhymes, and Chris Brown, just to name a few.
