Like every celebrity, Keri Hilson has had her fair share of haters on Twitter. The singer tweeted about dealing with them today in a string of messages, and several members of the BeyHive, Beyonce’s loyal fan club, took special offense and responded.
“You have no idea what your hateful words could do to someone’s spirit. Years of verbal abuse from strangers all day long. Enough is enough!” Hilson tweeted, along with “It’s TOO much!! Please! Is everything I tweet gonna be “intentionally misinterpreted” as a statement abt someone/drama I know nothing about?”.
And then Beyonce’s fans got riled up. “We won’t stop until you issue an official apology for even considering to talk about Beyonce” and “You stupid bitch. You dissed Bey for no reason, accept the consequences and apologise to her. Stop being a f—-ing p—-y.” One added, “YOUR REASON IS YOU ARE PRESSED THAT BEYONCE IS & ALWAYS HAS BEEN SUPERIOR TO YOUR FLOP ASS SELF. IT WONT CHANGE NEITHER #DEAL.”
The rumored beef between Keri and Beyonce spans years but earlier this year, Keri told Hip Hollywood that she has no issues with any female singers. “No, I don’t have a beef with any female artist. I think it’s just interesting that we live in such a gullible world. Anything that’s written, anything that’s posted, any picture that is interpreted one way, is take as truth. It’s like bible now. You can Photoshop something, put it out and everyone believes it,” Hilson explains. “I’m human and it’s hurtful…and it’s not okay to make up false things about someone.”
