Not only is Kid Cudi set to release his third album Indicud in a few weeks, but this past Sunday the rapper and actor also lent his voice to Fox’s “The Cleveland Show.”
Following appearances from Kanye and Nicki Minaj, Cudi voiced the role of Devon, Roberta’s new boyfriend. In the episode entitled “Brownsized,” Roberta is set up with Devon by younger brother Rallo, after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend Federline. Roberta soon finds out that Devon is not as great as he originally seems after they watch an episode of “Breaking Bad,” and Devon begins to lay down the law.
Last week Cudder dropped his latest track “Immortal,” which he self-produced. He explained the song to his fans via Twitter, “Ok, so here’s what I did. I took one of my favorite bands MGMT’s song “Congratulations”, put it in reverse, sped it up, and produced over it.”
Cudi, who has not released an album since 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, will drop Indicud on April 23. The album will feature Kanye West, Pusha T, Jaden Smith Kendrick Lamar and more.
