Music’s biggest power couple is back to business as usual. An artist’s publishing is usually a hot commodity and if you’re as successful as Jay and Beyonce, you want to make sure it’s in the right place.

According to reports via HipHopDX, earlier this week Jay signed an exclusive global administration publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.  As part of the deal, WCM will administer the rights to all of Jay-Z’s and Roc Nation’s recordings. Not too bad right.

Jay issued these comments in a statement. “The real meaning of success is being in the position to work with an individual you consider a friend,” said Jay-Z. “Jon Platt is such a person. He’s a man of extraordinary character as well as a remarkably talented executive with an ear for music and an eye for talent. It’s great to watch him grow to be one the best in the business.”

Now we have word that Beyonce also signed a global administration deal with Warner/Chappell Publishing yesterday (February 21), which will administer all of her future songwriting to include her upcoming fifth studio album.

Let’s hear it for the Roc…literally.
