The 2013 NBA All-Star game had some big name celebs heading to Houston this weekend to support their teams and favorite players and 2 Chainz and his collaborators Fall Out Boy were among them.

The recently reunited group was in attendance to rock out the stage with their new single “My Songs Knew What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” along with 2 Chainz in tow.

Their newest single features 2 Chainz in what seems like an unlikely pairing since both parties are from such different genres of music. “There wasn’t a lot of weirdness getting into it,” Patrick Stump told MTV News of the collaboration. “He totally got us, we totally got him.”

FOB’s promo video for the song featured Tity Boi doing his thing and setting everything ablaze, which had fans wondering if the rapper was going to be joining FOB on their new track. “I think it helps that we’re fans,” Joe Trohman said. “When the vibe is right, everybody works together without really having to discuss how to work together.”

Fall Out Boy took the stage last night in Houston’s Toyota Center wearing red Chicago Bulls jerseys and black jackets and had fans rocking out, but the crowd definitely got a bit louder once 2 Chainz surprised everyone by shooting out from below the stage midway through the song. He ripped through the chorus spitting the lines, “Light it up/ I’m so hot I’m getting fire than a fire truck.” Although this is an unlikely duo, the collaboration is definitely a crowd pleaser.
