Drake’s Recorded Multiple Songs For 3rd Album Nothing Was the Same

Drake is gearing up for another big year, beginning with the release of his latest single “Started From the Bottom” followed by a Grammy win with Take Care, and finally with the title reveal of his 3rd solo album, Nothing Was The Same. Since we got only the new title a few days ago, we weren’t expecting too many album details soon, but then Mack Maine came along with some news.

During an interview with Rap-Up TV during Grammy night the Young Money president gave an update on Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II album and revealed that Drizzy has made some considerable progress on his latest LP. Tens songs of progress.

“Drake doesn’t have a date yet,” Maine said of the upcoming album. “Drake just put out his first street single. Whenever he wants to drop, he’ll drop. I actually heard some of it, it’s great. He’s on the same pace as he always is to drop a classic. He’s like 10 songs in. Knowing him, that’s only like 4 songs, he probably won’t keep 6 of them. He’s a perfectionist though.”
