Despite receiving a major fashion dig from Jay-Z at last night’s Grammy Awards, The-Dream still left the show in high spirits. After taking home a Grammy for his work on “No Church in the Wild” with Frank Ocean, Jay-Z and Kanye West, The-Dream celebrated his golden gramophone by revealing information about his upcoming projects.
The singer/songwriter announced that his long-awaited fourth solo project is slated to be released on May 7. Originally named Love IV, The-Dream switched it up, and changed the album title to Fourplay. We can expect the unveiling of his new single, “Slow It Down” right in time for Valentine’s Day as a special gift for the ladies.
Besides revving up for his solo project, The-Dream has been hard at work on Beyonce’s very highly anticipated new project. While his lips are sealed on any information about Queen Bey’s album, he did disclose that he’ll be in Paris working with Kanye West on the follow-up to 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Nightmare. It looks like we’ll be hearing quite a bit from The-Dream in 2013.
