Justin Timberlake really made us wait for that comeback, but since the time is finally here, he’s doin’ it big. JT gave his first performance in five years during a pre-Super Bowl event in New Orleans in Saturday night and he brought along his good friends Jay-Z and Timbaland, because..why not?
Festivities are well under way in New Orleans for the big game and the DirecTV Super Saturday Night party was the place to be last night. The soiree was teeming with celebrities and burlesque dancers, while ?uestlove provided the music. When Timberlake finally hit the stage he had the assistance of a full band and four backup vocalists that he’s dubbed the Tennessee Kids.
And with his Jay-Z-featured single “Suit & Tie” being the first cut from his new album, he obviously showed up sporting a tuxedo and bow tie with sleek hair, looking like a young Frank Sinatra. During his set he ran through hits like “Like I Love You,” brought Timbaland out for “Sexy Back” and made his way to The 20/20 Experience, bringing Jay-Z out for “Suit & Tie.”
