President Obama And Michelle’s First Dance: Best Inauguration Moment?

via Barack Obama Twitter

There was no shortage of entertainment at President Obama’s second Inauguration on Monday, with festivities running all day and throughout the night, straight into the Inauguration  Ball…but was the first couple’s first dance the best part? It truly might’ve been.

Sure, Beyonce blew minds earlier with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” after making a show-stopping entrance with Jay-Z, but when Barack and Michelle hit the stage for their first dance, hearts melted. Michelle was decked out in an eye-catching red dress by Jason Wu and Jennifer Hudson serenaded them with Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” as the couple slow danced and America looked on. Even reporters covering the event agreed that they hadn’t seen such romance in the White House…maybe ever.

On Tuesday morning Barack (or, at least his Twitter account) shared a photo of the special moment, and even their not-so-biggest fans can appreciate the magic of it all.
