The battle between Philly rappers Meek Mill and Cassidy rages on. Earlier today, Meek tweeted, “Ok I quit this really put #cassidy 2 bed! @ArAb_TGOP #therealstory smh!” featuring a YouTube video of rapper Ar-Ab weighing in on the battle.
Ar-Ab claims in the lengthy clip that he caught a body for Cassidy and was never compensated for it. “I ain’t scared of nobody. I got a house full of goons,” says Ar-Ab. “I don’t give a f— about that beef…In 2012, I took 13 bullets.”
Fans had mixed reactions to this new revelation. “Arab siding wit meek cause meek making money in the game right now and Cassidy not…. Meek was prob in the room when he recorded it #stopit” said one fan on Twitter. “I f—s w/ @ARAB_TGOP but am disappointed watching his video about Cass & Meek. How you say they both ya man but u sh*ttin on Cass? SMH. LOL” said another.
Less than a week ago, Meek said he was done beefing with Cassidy. “No more attention on broke n—- sh–….. I’m done…. Time 2 get this money! Nothing else #mmg #dcr,” he wrote on Twitter after dropping his diss track “Repo.”
The contention between the two rappers appears to have begun in July when Cassidy began to retweet fans who wondered why he and Meek had not recorded since the MMG’s spitter career began to skyrocket. Meek, immediately offended by the implication, fired back at Cassidy. “U on some clown sh– right now,” he wrote. “Just say it 2 my face… I’m always home… Y’all b getting beside y’all self with this send button don’t confuse this twitter wit real life… #hating.”
