Katt Williams Skips Court Hearing, Decides Not To Retire

By Georgette Pierre

We’re not sure if Katt Williams thinks he’s above the law but a Seattle judge doesn’t seem to think so after the comedian was a no-show for his hearing on Friday (December 7). According to Williams’ lawyer, he was under the impression that he didn’t have to show up so his hearing has been rescheduled.

Katt Williams: A Timeline Of Bad Behavior, Assault, Legal Woes

The so-called on again, off again comedian, Katt Williams has had more run ins with the law than we can keep up with. In the span of a few days, he has assaulted a Target employee in which he escaped “the scene” on a motorized scooter. He lead Sacramento County authorities on a police chase in a 3-wheeler motorcycle, and was issued an arrest warrant for assault charges from a show in Seattle, where he struck a man, threatened a bar owner, and even went as far to throw chairs at the fans. Talk about insult to injury.

Earlier this week, the comedian claimed he was retiring from comedy only to recant that statement a couple of days later. What gives, Katt?
