Mixtape Daily: B.o.B. Gets Back To ‘Raw’ Music On F–k Em We Ball

On his latest mixtape, F—k Em We Ball, which he dropped on Thursday November 15 (it also happens to be his birthday) B.o.B. is getting back to the “raw” music he was once known for. The tape includes features from T.I., Juicy J, Snoop Lion and more. Download at DatPiff and see what B.o.B. has to say about it in the video above.

“The sound of this mixtape—I’m really getting back to my beginning,” Bobby Ray tells MTV News. “A lot of people who caught me on the mainstream end of things, or first discovered me on my first album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, they didn’t really get to see how raw I was, they overlooked the fact that I’m from the east side of Decatur, Georgia.”

“They overlooked the roots and where I came from, everything. I wanna connect with people on this mixtape, so the whole sound behind F—k Em We Ball is really just about me doing what I wanna do. I’ve given the world two classic albums, I’ve shown the people what I can do musically, and now I’m just having fun doing what I wanna do.”
