Game Weighs In On Floyd Mayweather And 50 Cent Fallout

By Georgette Pierre

Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent’s public falling out has been the talk amongst the Twitterverse and the hip-hop community. In a sneak peak of MTV2’s “The Week in Jams,” Game shares his thoughts about the situation. “I actually thought that was not cool on both ends. I felt like, you know, they had a genuine love for each other. They was homies.”

Game still had a lot more to say but not about Mayweather or 50. Earlier this week, he stopped by the RapFix couch to chop it up with Sway about his fifth studio album, Jesus Piece, the theme behind it, and being courted by MMG and YMCMB.

As far as being courted by Rick Ross’ MMG imprint and Lil Wayne’s YMCMB camp, Game revealed on RapFix, “I talked to Ross the other day — shout-out to MMG, Wale and Meek Mill, they started off the MMG Tour in Penn State. I rocked with ‘em onstage and I was talking to Ross, and Ross was like, ‘What’s up with that last album?’ And I’m like, ‘You know, it’s the last album.’ And he was like, ‘Nah, never mind, Jimmy ain’t gon’ let you go.’ So that and talking to [Cash Money's] Baby and [Lil Wayne] two times a week, you know, it’s cool. I kinda feel like a little free agent in the league real quick.”

He also has a new VH1 reality series, “Marrying the Game”, documenting him and his fiancée’s, Tiffney Cambridge, relationship ups and downs while still planning to make a trip down the aisle. The series premieres November 19th.

Game’s new album, Jesus Piece, hits stores December 11th.
