OutKast MC and seven-time Grammy Award winner, Big Boi, releases his new single ‘Mama Told Me’ featuring Kelly Rowland, to an overwhelmingly positive response. Lighthearted and funky (even receiving comparisons to vintage Prince); Kelly offers a seamless hook while Big Boi floats through his verses flawlessly. The song has been quickly gaining buzz across the Internet waves.
Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, originally slated for a November release, will hit stores December 11th and will be the follow up to 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.
Earlier this year, he released two street singles including the smooth track,” She Said Okay” featuring Theophilus London (that could be featured on this album) and “Gossip” featuring UGK and Big K.R.I.T.
Known for his lyrical artistry with OutKast, Big Boi has seen much success since he first hit the scene in 1994 with the group’s first album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. They went on to achieve Grammy success in 2003 with their 5th studio album, Speakerboxx/The Love Below that contained solo albums by Big Boi and Andre 3000 respectively, making it one of the biggest-selling hip hop albums worldwide.
