Kendrick Lamar Thanks Fans With ‘The Jig Is Up’ Prod By J. Cole

Kendrick Lamar is on track to sell 240,000 of his Interscope debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, and the Compton MC decided to thank fans for their support with a new single titled “The Jig Is Up,” produced by J. Cole and & Canei Finch.

Fans have praised Kendrick for remaining true to his own aesthetic on the studio project, but he never considered doing otherwise. “[There was] no compromise at all,” he told MTV News of working on the LP. “They told me to go, and continue doing what I’m doing, Interscope, Dre, continue doing what I’m doing.”
