Ever wanted to know what really runs through Lil Wayne’s mind? Well, you have to wait a few more months to find out. Earlier this year, Lil Tunechi announced plans to release a memoir in November, but now the book is scheduled for a May release instead.
If you recall, the Young Money boss spent eight months on Rikers Island in 2010 for a gun possession charge. During his time there, he kept diaries of his most intimate thoughts including his past, present, and future amongst other things fans may find interesting for a man who doesn’t mind wearing furry boots to court side games.
His memoir, "Gone Till November," will be based on these diaries during his time at Rikers. Although it was initially set for a November release, it will now be available May 2013 through Grand Central Publishing, under the umbrella of Hachette Book Group. You can pre-order the book here.
Now that he’s taking a break from rap, expect to see more endeavors from Wayne including his custom line of headphones with Beats by Dr. Dre that will be available this month for a limited time.
