Meek Mill’s debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, hits stores in just a few weeks on October 30 and on the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards red carpet, Meek, DJ Drama and Wale told MTV News that they’re really looking forward to the upcoming release.

The Philly rapper said that he’s excited about “everything” while DJ Drama is excited about “what’s going with Nas,” who is featured alongside John Legend and Rick Ross on “Maybach Curtains,” the sixth track on the album. “You saw them three legends in that picture,” Drama said.

Fellow MMG rapper Wale offered up some encouraging words. “It’s an intense time, it’s a special moment,” he said. “I told him to embrace it, man. He’s in a good spot; he’s making incredible music.” Wale’s comment is testimony to Meek’s effort with the album. “It ain’t gonna be all over the place like the mixtapes,” the rapper told MTV News recently. “This album I’ma make it connect, I’ma try to perfect my craft a little more.”
