Joining a performer line-up that already includes the VMA debut of One Direction, Taylor Swift,? Green Day? and Pink?, five-time VMA nominee Rihanna will bring the heat at the September 6 show. Rihanna is tied with Drake for the night’s most nominations, including two bids for Video of the Year.
Add in the VMA performance debut of talked-about Odd Future croonerFrank Ocean and you have one of the most dynamic duos in the game.
Among the new presenters also confirmed for the show are the Wanted, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones, 2 Chainz and Ke$ha. They’ll join a previously announced list that includes Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and the “Fierce Five,” the U.S. Women’s Olympics Gymnastics Team that won the team gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.
The show, airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, will also feature a performance from Alicia Keys.

The show will chronicle the British boy band’s debut at the big show, following them as they prepare for the night as fellow performers Green Day, Pink and Taylor Swift recall their own first times taking the VMA stage with never-before-heard tales.
