Frank Ocean’s ‘Lost’ Video Gets The Fan Treatment

By Rob Markman

Aristotle, from By Any Means has quite the eye. Just last week the New York-bred video director visualized Ludacris’ latest clip “Jingalin,” but he is no new jack. Aris and B.A.M. have been padding their filmography lending their lens to artists like Fabolous (“You Be Killin’ ‘Em), Nas (“The Don”) and The-Dream (“Long Gone”) for quite some time now. For his latest video, Aris creates a fan-video for Frank Ocean’s “Lost” from the Odd Future singer/songwriter’s major label debut Channel Orange.

The clip sets Ocean’s track to scenes from the 2007 Wes Anderson-directed comedy “The Darjeeling Limited,” which stars Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray.

Check what Aristotle had to say about his “Lost” video below:

“I haven’t connected to a track like this in a really long time; What I found most beautiful about this project was the absence of limitation in the creative process. At its foundation, this project is for me an un-tainted form of art – No limitations, no boundaries, simply put it is pure artistic expression. It goes without saying, this is an incredibly fulfilling process for me, and one which helps me grow creatively. As with all film making, this was a collaborative process and I want to express my gratitude to Josh Aronson, our editor who took this project to another place.”

What do you think of B.A.M.’s take on Frank Ocean’s “Lost”?
