A$AP Rocky Announces Headlining Tour, A$AP Mob Single ‘Bath Salt’

Bryant Gilmore

All right, A$AP Rocky fans, you wanted the dude, you got him. The “Purple Swag” rapper is coming to a city near you on his fall LONGLIVEA$AP tour and he’s bringing Schoolboy Q, Danny Boy, and A$AP Mob along with him. The shows kick off on September 21 in Providence, RI at the Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel and concludes on November 18 in Philadelphia, PA at the Electric Factory. Tickets for the tour go on sale tomorrow, Friday, July 27 and you better get in line now because with this line-up, those tickets are gonna go quick.

Speaking of A$AP Mob, they released the cover art for the first single off of their group album this week and from what we can see, it looks like they have been watching the news lately. The cover is of a hand-drawn, white–lined coffin on a black background with the song title “Bath Salt” directly under it. Scribbled on the coffin itself are the artists featured on the track, which includes Mob member YG Addie, Pretty Flacko, and Brooklyn trio Flatbush Zombies. The song is expected to premiere, Friday (July 27) at 12 A.M., so make sure you stay up for it.

Rocky has been on his grind since the success of “Peso” and “Purple Swag” off his mixtapes, Deep Purple and LONGLIVEA$AP. Aside from the tour and working the Mob, he’s currently in the studio finishing up his own long-awaited album, LONGLIVEA$AP. Hopefully, his recent run-in law with the law won’t prevent him from getting back to the studio for too long.
