Katherine Jackson, the 82-year-old mother of the late singer Michael Jackson, is assumed missing. CNN reports that Michael's daughter, Paris Jackson, (who has been under Katherine's care along with her siblings since the death of her father) is concerned as she never received an expected call from her grandmother.
On July 20, Michael's brother Jermaine tweeted a contradictory story and shared that Katherine was in Arizona due to doctor's orders. He said "I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us," "This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything. We are following doctor's advice. Period." and " I thank the vast majority of you for your messages of love and support. The bullcrap of speculators and deflectors is just background noise."
"yes , my grandmother is missing . i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now " tweeted Paris early today and "if anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number— (818)-876-0186 it's the security number .. thank you so much" followed by "the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother... just saying." The latter tweet may be in response to Jermaine's sentiment about the doctor's advice.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest.
