Nicki Minaj is getting ready to roll out the video for her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded single "Pound the Alarm," and Friday night the YMCMB rapper took her talents to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," sitting down for an interview before performing the track.
During the interview Nicki chatted about how far she's come in the past few years, from waitressing at Red Lobster to become a platinum-selling international artist. When she took the stage to perform she changed into a nude colored bodysuit and had the help of a few backup dancers for the energetic single.

This week we saw behind-the-scenes footage from her "Pound the Alarm" video shoot in her hometown Trinidad. In the clip, Minaj is seen walking with a bouquet of flowers and is greeted by other Trinis, who scream and jump up and down with excitement while flashing cell phone cameras at her.
"We're at the 'Pound the Alarm' video shoot, in my homeland, where I was born. We're here baby," Minaj says directly to camera about the Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded track. "Trinidad!" Minaj also reflected on the last time she was in Trinidad, for an MTV documentary that aired in November 2010 and offered a peek into the world of the rapper born Onika Miraj.
