“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Mimi Faust doesn’t seem to enjoy attention as much as Joseline Hernandez, telling TheBoxHouston that reality TV fame is not all it’s cracked up to be. During a chat at the 2012 BET Awards, Faust told The Box’s JJ that she, like most viewers, is left in the dark when it comes to what will air weekly.
She explained that once the footage is captured, so much editing takes place that she sees all the episodes for the first time when aired on VH1. “You guys are seeing five minutes of my life. And even so the stuff that they show you is edited crazy,” she explained. “So once what we shoot gets on the editing table, I don’t even know what I’mma get. I don’t even know what I’m going to see. I’m watching it just like you guys are watching it.”
During the interview Faust also answered another question fans have been asking, assuring viewers that the show is certainly not scripted. She even teased a dramatic ending to the series, hinting that she might give cheating boyfriend Stevie J the deuces.
And as for Mimi handling boyfriend Stevie J’s “artist” Joseline–seems like she doesn’t have to, as fans are taking matters into their own hands. A fan approached Joseline Hernandez at a viewing party on Monday night asking her about her alleged abortion. When Joseline refused to answer, an altercation broke out and Hernandez was seen leaving the venue “with a scratched and blooded face.”
