Only 5 months old and the Carter’s daughter, Blue Ivy already has citizenship outside the U.S. Jay-Z and Beyonce’s little girl was recently named an honorary citizen of the Croatian Island Hvar, the tropical paradise where a pregnant Bey and Jay-Z vacationed at last summer.
"The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar," Major of Hvar, Pjerino Bebic wrote in a letter addressing the family. "Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town of Hvar."
Earlier this year in honor of the Carter’s fourth wedding anniversary, the singer released dozens of personal photos including an intimate clip the couple filmed prior to Blue’s birth while visiting the Island. "We woke up this morning, took a nice little walk, passed by this beautiful blue tree," a pregnant Beyonce shared in the video while admiring the plant. “I think it's Blue Ivy, which would be quite appropriate!"
The Carter Clan is currently overseas supporting daddy Jay on the European dates for his Watch the Throne Tour. Over the past few weeks the fam has been seen living it up in Paris along with Kanye West, and Bey has even been spotted alongside Kim Kardashian taking in the show.
