Rihanna strutted her dance moves on Wednesday night's season finale of "American Idol," performing her hit single "Where Have You Been" while sporting an interesting new hairdo: dreadlocks. Guess you never know what she'll do next. Rih came equipped with plenty of backup dancers, and even a couple of dudes playing drums in the background. Gotta get the vibe locked down.

The Roc Nation star recently joined her boss Jay-Z, and Kanye West on stage in London for a guest appearance on their Watch the Throne tour. It made Rihanna the first person to perform alongside The Throne since they kicked off the flashy tour in the U.S. last fall.
The video for "Where Have You Been" dropped a few days ago, after the singer teased behind-the-scenes footage for a couple weeks. And even after the clip premiered she continued to share revealing snapshots from the set, showing her wearing near to nothing. The 24-year-old is currently starring in the film "Battleship." [They were] mostly actresses I looked to and looked up to and embodied their characters and tried to see how they would approach the action," she told MTV News of prepping for the role. "I watched a lot of bad bitches," she said with a smile.
