Whitney Houston died suddenly in February sending her family and fans reeling from the news, but only three months later Houston’s family have signed a deal to star in a new Lifetime reality show. The Houston Family Chronicles is slated to be a10-episode documentary style series premiering later this year, and starring Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law/manager Pat Houston.

Houston’s cousin and famed singer Dionne Warwick will also appear on the show, as support for Bobbi Kristina.
“The tragic loss of Whitney Houston left a void in the hearts of people all over the world, but certainly none more so than her beloved family,” Lifetime’s EVP Rob Sharenow said in a statement. “In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love, and grow.”
Bobbi Kristina is also set to appear in the second season of Tyler Perry’s sitcom“Better or Worse.” Bobbi Kristina shared with Oprah on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that she had plans to “carry on the legacy” of her late mother. “We’re gonna do the singing thing. Some acting, some dancing,” Bobbi Kristina said. “It’s a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it.”
