Nicki Minaj will make her debut as the face of the new Pepsi campaign, “Live For Now” when her first commercial airs Monday. The commercial, titled “Now in the Moment” features a freshly remixed version of Minaj’s hit “Moment for Life” and will be part of Pepsi’s global campaign “Live For Now.” In a still from the commercial, Minaj is showing off her fierce fashion sporting a pinked-out futuristic dress and matching tresses.
“Live For Now” is a recently launched campaign which invites consumers to live each moment to the fullest through music and entertainment. Nicki is joined by fellow female superstar in the music biz, Katy Perry, for the new ad campaign. Pepsi announced this week that Perry would join “Live For Now” and that they will be partnering with Perry to promote her upcoming concert movie “Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D” which hits theaters July 5th.
Pepsi also struck a deal with Michael Jackson’s estate to feature footage of the King of Pop in the new “Live For Now” ads, AP reports. Pepsi fans in the United States and China will be the first to see the new ads, which are timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of MJ’s hit Bad. The campaign will feature Michael Jackson Pepsi cans and chances for fans to win Jackson-inspired leather jackets.
