Atlanta Hawks Take Down Celtics, Grand Hustle Edge Bad Boy In Playoffs

The Atlanta Hawks soared to an 83-74 victory over the Boston Celtics in game one of their Eastern conference playoff match-up on Sunday.

ATL forward Josh Smith scored 22 points and snagged 18 rebounds in a game where the Hawks dominated throughout. It’s expected to be a hotly contested series between the fourth and fifth seeds in the Eastern conference.

In the MTV News Hip-Hop Playoffs the #4 seeded Grand Hustle squad also are leading a series against Diddy’s #5 seeded Bad Boy team. Thus far T.I., B.o.B. and company are leading Diddy’s boys with 55% of the fan vote. In recent months both CEOs have been building their rosters. Diddy totally revamped his powerhouse brand adding French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly and Los to the storied Bad Boy label. T.I. on the other hand has added U.K. talent Chip, Iggy Azalea and Trae tha Truth to his team which was already notching wins thanks to the King of the South himself and of course B.o.B. who will drop his sophomore album Strange Clouds on May 1.

The squad here at RapFix are looking forward to watching Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and the rest of the biggest stars lead their respective teams to victory. A championship team is only as good as its weakest link, so we analyzed talent, sales success and overall influence to determine our 16 rap teams and come up with the proper seeding.
