Hip-Hop invaded WrestleMania XXVIII at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida tonight. In front of 80,000 fans, the biggest night in wrestling featured a highly anticipated bout for years between two of the sport’s biggest stars John Cena and The Rock. Hip-Hop’s influence on the show was palpable with both Machine Gun Kelly and Flo Rida providing official theme songs for the main event.

Sean Diddy Combs came out to introduce Bad Boy recording artist and protégé Machine Gun Kelly who performed “Invincible.” Rocking a Cleveland tank, MGK was joined by singer Skylar Grey for the inspirational number. Before his set, the rapper tweeted, “This is about to be the biggest 1 minute and 30 seconds of my career so far…I’m thinking of all you guys right now. Be proud. Lace Up!!!” “An underdog is Machine Gun Kelly” MGK said. “An underdog is John Cena,” showcasing his support for Cena, who then came out.

Miami’s own Flo Rida then performed “Good Feeling” and “Wild Ones” featuring Sia. The shirtless and well-oiled rapper alongside a gaggle of scantily clad background dancers pumped up the crowd in preparation for The Rock’s entrance.
